Chief Executive Officer for Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA)

With 25 years of diverse experience in catalysing the corporate sector for sustainable growth and overall economic development, Ratika’s career has been India-centric, in international environments with a thrust on the technology sector. She has extensive experience in supporting value creation and opportunity maximisation through public policy and advocacy, scenario analysis, consensus building, stakeholder/media management and knowledge-brokering.

Prior to GITA, Ratika was an Executive Director responsible for overseeing the Manufacturing vertical at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), covering key sectors such as advanced materials, aerospace, automotive, capital goods, chemicals, defence, engineering, ICTE, mining, smart manufacturing, steel and textiles, amongst others. She was also responsible for CII’s work with micro and small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and its affiliated associations, covering an industry footprint of more than 200,000 companies.

A Business Economist by training, Ratika has been the Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Bharti Enterprises as well as a Director of Research Partnerships for India at Imperial College London, one of the world’s Ieading universities. Other positions held include heading CII’s operations in the UK, etc.
