Saija Korkala is responsible for heading the SEB New Delhi representative office, which was established 2008.

Saija has worked in banking for almost 19 years and with SEB for over 16 years. She was part of the team setting up the derivatives desk in SEB Helsinki and has since held different roles ranging from Markets Sales covering derivatives, FX, advisory, project management and recently Institutional Client Coverage. Prior to her assignment in India, Saija was Client Executive for a portfolio of largest Finnish financial institution clients and hedge funds. She was also part of the country management group of SEB in Finland. She holds M.Sc. in Economics, from Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, Finland.
