Head of SEB International

Carl Christensson is responsible for SEB's International network which consists of 11 sites in Asia, the Americas and Europe. He is a member of Large Corporates and Financial Institutions Division Management Group. Carl has spent the last 13 years developing the SEB’s Asian operations.

Carl was the Chief Executive for SEB Hong Kong Branch and responsible for the establishment and build-up of the operations from 2011 to 2015. Prior to this he was the Deputy Head of Structured Finance in Stockholm, Sweden. Between 2005 and 2010, Carl was the General Manager and responsible for the establishment of the SEB Shanghai Branch. Between 2001 and 2005 Carl was heading SEB Ventures which is the Venture Capital investment operation of the SEB group.

Prior to joining SEB Ventures in 2001, Carl was responsible for Enskilda Securities’ (SEB’s Investment Bank) Technology Corporate Finance Team in Sweden.

Between 1992 and 1996, Carl worked for Nomura International plc, Investment Banking Department in London.
