Information, Cultural and Media officer, Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi

Shuchita Mehta works as an Information, Cultural and Media officer with the Embassy of Sweden. Her work broadly involves creating awareness and improving the public perception of Sweden in India with the help of various tools of communication. She also promotes Swedish cultural affairs in India as well as liaise with counterparts at Swedish companies, Government offices for raising the profile of Sweden.

Prior to that, Shuchita worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, leading their external relations in India. She started her career as a journalist with The Times of India newspaper. After a stint of 4 years in journalism, she went to Switzerland to pursue Masters in International Relations from Geneva School of Diplomacy.
