Scientific Officer with Government of India working in the Ministry / Department of Science & Technology since 1990. Presently working as Adviser/ Scientist G and Head of the International Division (Bilateral cooperation) of the Department responsible for facilitating bilateral scientific cooperation of India with select group of countries.Has worked as Counsellor (S&T) with Embassy of India in Moscow to facilitate bilateral scientific cooperation between India and Russia during April 2008 – June 2011.Has developed several scientific activities as well as inter-governmental documents to facilitate bilateral scientific cooperation of India with several partner countries.Has developed documentation to promote scientific – industrial cooperation.

Has taught at M.Sc (Geology) and M.Tech (Geophysics) level at Kurukshetra University in 1990.Passed out M.Sc (Geology) in 1984 from Aligarh Muslim University. Pursued research at University of Delhi during 1985-1990 on Himalayan river systems, sedimentation, diagenetic and tectonic modifications. Got trained on Management Information System by CMC Ltd, Kolkata in1994.Did Certificate course for Proficiency in Russian language from University of Delhi in 1994. Attended training course on Intellectual Property Rights and WTO related issues, covering Patents, Copyrights, Invention, Geographical Indicators, Trade Secrets, Trademarks, etc (ASCI, Hyderabad, 2006).
